The American Society for Indexing is an association committed to improving the quality of indexing and serving the needs of indexing professionals. Membership is open to all individuals interested in indexing, including: indexers, editors, technical writers, publishers, librarians, and anyone else curious about the profession and its workings.

The Chicago/Great Lakes Chapter serves members primarily from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio.

We hope that you will be joining us at one of our exciting 2008 events, including a spring practicum and fall workshops featuring Enid Zafran, John Wean, and Do Mi Stauber as presenters.
